Water Spray Systems    
 
Water Spray System is a special fixed pipe system connected to a reliable source of pressurized water supply and equipped with HD water spray nozzles for application on area to be protected. The system can be operated automatically by connection to an automatic detection and alarm system or manually, or both using HD Deluge valve. Often the valve sets are skid mounted incorporating all isolation valves, instruments and piping.

Quartzoid bulb detectors are used to detect fire and actuate deluge valve. As soon as the glass bulb or fusible link is heated up to its activating temperature by the heat from the fire, the deluge valve is actuated.

Water spray systems are generally used for fire protection of flammable liquid and gas storage tanks, piping, pumping equipment, electrical equipment such as transformers, oil switches, rotating electrical machinery etc. and for protection of openings in fire walls and floors. The type of water spray required depends on the nature of the hazard and protection required.		  
 
 
 
Foam Systems    
 
 
  Wherever the effective control and suppression of hydrocarbon fires is required, HD delivers all types of specialist foam based solutions. HD designs and builds foam making and proportioning packages - often skid mounted - incorporating bladder tanks, simple inductor based storage tank units or an electric or diesel foam pump.

HD's Balance Pressure pump skid-proportioning system accurately controls the flow of foam concentrate in to the water stream. The system automatically controls the foam concentrate over a wide range of flow and pressure, without manual adjustment. The system is typically used in the fixed foam system and specialized mobile equipments to protect tank farm, offshore platform, air craft hanger, marine dock, loading rack and in many other applications and in all types of hazard.

The Bladder Tank Foam Proportioning System utilizes the water pressure to inject foam concentrate into a water supply and automatically proportions foam concentrate over wide range of flow and pressure, with very low pressure drop. This system does not require concentrate supply pump. The bladder tank proportioning system operates on same principle as that of a balance pressure proportioning system. In bladder system, the bladder is used as diaphragm to separate the water and foam concentrate within the tank. The foam concentrate is injected into the ratio controller utilizing water pressure.
 
 
Custom Engineered Skids    
 
At HD we offer various custom engineered skids required for specific applications. These skids include deluge skids, foam skids and bladder tank skids.

All of the skids are completely tested, and verified under actual working conditions. The skids are also available in pre-assembled condition, which makes them very quick and easy for installation.
